SEVERAL leading members of the establishment, belonging to the federal cabinet or its auxiliary political party, have announced ‘their’ decision to get President General Musharraf re-elected head of state for five years. This is good to hear, but one may wonder how long the “hatchet” will stay buried.

General Musharraf's dilemma about his future job security is patently visible.
